Historic House Restoration, Zeyrek / Istanbu
As part of the 'Save Our Roofs' Campaign, this heritage building was the first of over 20 timber houses dating back to the turn of the 20th century located around the Byzantine Pantokrator Church-partially converted to the Zeyrek Kilise Mosque.The work was carried out by Ark Limited under the supervision of National Timber Association of Turkey and UNESCO. The construction was sponsored by Siemens Kitchen Appliances-Turkey.
